random eats...

as i sit here eating cold pizza for breakfast, it occurs to me that pizza really tastes SO much better cold than it does hot and fresh out of the oven... of course, this got me thinking about other foods that taste better in ways they probably weren't meant to be enjoyed...  take cookies for example, they taste much better when not cooked.  for that matter, most items that start with a dough or batter taste better when not cooked... i'll take a bowl of pancake or brownie batter over the actual pancakes and brownies any day of the week!  and take-out chinese food?  what happened to the cute little white cardboard chinese food boxes of yore??  none of it tastes the same, or even right, out of the styrofoam containers they serve it in now...  french fries?  who needs 'em?  unless you're dipping them in a delicious milkshake (vanilla or chocolate, your choice :)  i've also heard tell of people eating all kinds of things battered and deep fried, like pickles and candy bars... but i think i'll stick with my cold pizza.  #pizzaforbreakfast

omg... so many nautical-themed items for my someday cottage-on-the-beach... i will seriously go OVERBOARD decorating that place...  #seaworthy

random things that never get old...

there are few things in my life that never get old... one is watching reruns of Gilmore Girls... another is taking naps in the afternoon... but one of my favorite things that never gets old is watching my dog right after eating peanut butter... yes, i know it's been done A LOT, and yes, i'm certain that it does indeed get old to pretty much everybody else.. but me?  i could watch it over and over... and i laugh hysterically every time... enjoy!  (and if you're wondering what that is you're hearing in the background?  it's a rerun of Gilmore Girls.  #laughinghysterically

seriously, i am still recovering from the midnight premier of HPDH2... three nights ago... which was AWESOME!  and which also has delivered to my family a new and exciting way to express our thoughts to each other.  thanks so much to the douche bag who screamed at darbey "you shut the fuck up, ALRIGHT?!?"  for providing us with this additional fodder... we will continue to mock and make fun of you for many years to come... had he not been SO ridiculous, and had the movie not been starting right at that moment, I would have probably responded in some way to this idiot, but in the spirit of not ruining something that we'd been waiting for for 10+ years, I held back my laughter and outward commentary and response, although a few tears did roll down my cheek...  i continue to wonder why he felt it necessary to add the "ALRIGHT?!?" to the end of his statement, i mean he started off sounding so commanding (as well as asshole-ic), but once he added the "ALRIGHT?!?", it was like he was asking permission... that's when i wanted to laugh... of course when the movie ended, i loudly exclaimed to darbey myself "you shut the fuck up, ALRIGHT?!?" (calm down, it was a joke people, and was MEANT to be heard by the aforementioned douche bag.)  we still find this hilarious... and if you don't, you can go suck a toe, ALRIGHT?!?  :p  #harrypotter
